Currently, the Science Fiction Club is publishing Golana, a 36-page magazine devoted to social science fiction–i. e., stories concerning the impact of technology upon individuals and upon peoples. The covers for the issue have already been made up; Mr. Brian Wrynn, associate secretary of the Club, said of these covers: "Abstract in theme, symbolize man's quest." On the front cover, there is the launching of a rocket, and, on the back, an abstract of man against the universe." The illustrator was William Schloman. Golana's first issue, according to Edward Dong, the Science Fiction Club's Vice-President, will be out about December, 1963. It is dedicated to E. E. Smith, whose Skylark and Lensmen series are famed in the science fiction field. A transcript of Frederik Pohl's talk to the Club will also be published.
